ΒΆ File Menu
The file menu contains the basic initial operations after starting the software, plus some additional setting options.
The description of each tool is the following:
- Open Project - Open existing PCS project.
- Open Project Components - Open any project component, like vectors, rasters or point clouds.
- New - Shape - Point/Polyline/Polygon - Create an empty project with an empty SHP layer.
- New - Empty Project - Create an empty project.
- Exit - Close the software. If the software is being usedand a project is opened, it will prompt the user to save the project and vectors.
- Use Default Layout - This function is a checkbox. In some cases, the user might crash the toolbars or accidentally close something which cannot be reopened. If the toolbars are missing, close the software, start it again, select this option, and then create a new empty project. This will reset the toolbar and window layout to default.
- Save Layout as Profile - Currently unavailable function.
- LAS settings - The LAS settings for LAS optimization. See the related article for more info.
If a project is already opened, two used, and additional points will be visible inside the file menu:
- Close project - Close the current project and return to the start screen
- Save All - Save the project file and all vectors (and LAS files if applicable)
