¶ Console
The console window is a message board for the PCS software where additional information is logged. It opens when the user starts the software. If a project is opened, the console closes and can be opened again using the Main Window—Standard Toolbar—View menu—Console option.
The console provides information about the current running tools and logs the user activity. This information is important for the developers in case of a malfunction.
The console has two tabs: Messages and Developers. Under the Messages tab, the standard software log can be seen; under the Developer tab, the user can find the extended log. If a bug is reported to the developers, the console log is usually required to reproduce it.
The user can copy the console's content in the console window, making it easy to paste it into Notepad or Word. The text colour can also be changed.
The console window can be docked.
